Our MOOSH children are divided up into 4 groups:
If your child is dropped off or picked up by someone who is NOT the parent/guardian, then we require daily written permission. Please use the below template when emailing us at info@manlyoosh.com.au to make everything clear and compliant.
Before School Care I, PARENT NAME give permission for DROP OFF’S FULL NAME to drop off CHILD/REN’s FULL NAME to Manly OOSH on DATE. Also, I give permission for Manly OOSH to sign in CHILD/REN’s FULL NAME on my behalf.
After School Care I, PARENT NAME give permission for PICK UP’S FULL NAME to collect CHILD/REN’s FULL NAME from Manly OOSH on DATE. Also, I give permission for Manly OOSH to sign out CHILD/REN’s FULL NAME on my behalf.
CCS applies to Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care!
Remember if your child doesn’t attend Manly OOSH for 26 weeks, CCS subsidy automatically stops with MOOSH/Xplor. It is your responsibility to check regularly – you can see your CCS subsidy listed on your statement, which can be found on the Xplor Home app under Finance. Also, the percentage of CCS received per child is shown in the Xplor Home app.

To alleviate any confusion, the difference between a permanent booking, casual booking or Vacation Care booking is:
Permanent – your child attends MOOSH consistently on a particular session/day and this is booked by MOOSH. Changes to a permanent booking need to be emailed to Ali at info@manlyoosh.com.au and there is a 14-day cancellation period.
Casual – your child attends MOOSH occasionally for school days during term time. These bookings can be made in advance via the Xplor Home mobile app and can be cancelled via the app with at least 24 hours notice. If the booking is not cancelled and your child does not attend, you will be charged. Casual bookings are subject to availability of places on any given day.
Vacation Care – you child attends Vacation Care in the school holiday. These bookings can be made in advance via the Xplor Home mobile app and can be cancelled via the app with at least 28-day notice. If a booking is not cancelled and your child does not attend, you will be charged.

Please do not use the Holiday Request functionality in Xplor, MOOSH does not use this functionality. If your child is going to be on holiday/absent for an extended period of time (more than 2 weeks), please email Ali at info@manlyoosh.com.au with the precise dates.
Yes, if your child does not attend MOOSH on a day you have booked, you need to mark your child as absent before 12pm for After School Care. Without this notification and if MOOSH has to call you to confirm your child’s whereabouts, MOOSH will charge your account $15.00. Absences are made via the Xplor Home app by going to the bookings and simply pressing Absent! Also, for your information, Centrelink pay CCS entitlement for 42 absents per child, per financial year.
The MOOSH statement can be found within the Xplor Home app. Go to: Finance, then Account Summary to see all activity. As a reminder, please remember MOOSH charge fortnightly in arrears (payments are deducted on a Friday fortnightly), please ensure there is sufficient funds in your dedicated bank account as charges apply to rejected payments.

Junior Educators are ex-MOOSH children gaining work skills and training to become MOOSH educators in the future!

Yes, MOOSH provides breakfast and afternoon tea daily. We have a new menu each term. The menu is display at MOOSH on the notice board, however if you would like a copy, please email info@manlyoosh.com.au

Go to the Xplor Home app, Finance, click Manly OOSH logo tab, CWA Agreement, I Accept
Once you have agreed to the CWA, you can log into your My Gov account to accept Manly OOSH as your child’s provider. I have been told that it can take 1 hour from agreeing to the CWA before it shows in your My Gov account. Please note that your My Gov and CCS subsidy isn’t a MOOSH responsibility, and any questions about this must be directed to Centrelink not Manly OOSH.
Yes, if you are an Australian Permanent Resident. You’d need to ensure, MOOSH has your child’s and your CRN number and Date of Birth.
Debit Success charge $19.95 for any failed payment.
No, MOOSH only accepts bank details.
During 2024 our Session Fees are:

19.50 per session (7:00am – 09:00am)

The only payment option available is by using Direct Debit from either your bank account or credit card. The Direct Debit charge occurs fortnightly on Tuesdays.
$80 – Annual Family Enrolment Fee paid upon first booking for each calendar year.
$10 – Account Service fee if the account is unpaid 14 days after charging.
$5 – Per week, each week, an account remains unpaid.
$10 – It’s a parents/guardian’s responsibility to sign their children out via their own PIN, by using the QK Kiosk through the tablet provided at the Centre. If a child is not signed out this fee is applicable per child.
$10 – It’s a parents/guardian’s responsibility to inform us if a child is not attending on any given booked day. Should your child be on the attendance roll and OOSH Northern Beaches has not been notified of a non-attendance and a telephone call has to be made to confirm your child’s whereabouts, this fee is applicable.
$2 – Re-booking/cancellation fee. To change any booked days or add extra days.
$20 – The collection of any child after 6pm (or after your centre closes) will incur a late fee of $20.00 for every 10 minutes, or part thereof. This fee will be added to your account and charged in the next charging cycle.
Any new or amendment to permanent bookings must be requested online through the parent portal in “My Family Lounge” (QK Enrol) by logging in via our website at ooshnb.com.au (this cannot be done in the MFL phone app) with at least 14 days’ notice prior to the commencement date of that change, otherwise you will only be able to mark your child absent and fees will still apply.
Alternatively contact can be made to Head Office via email at manager@ooshnb.com.au with at least 14 days’ notice. Informing a staff member verbally is considered a courtesy and does not constitute notification.
It is essential and the parent’s responsibility to advise whether their child will be absent from the Centre on a day they are booked in and not our responsibility to telephone to confirm a missing child’s whereabouts, there is an additional charge if staff are required to follow up a non-attendance which we haven’t been advised of. It is not sufficient to advise the school that your child will be absent.
You must mark your child absent from After School Care through your My Family Lounge account prior to 2:30pm. After this time, or in an emergency, a message must be left on the Centre’s direct number. Alternatively you can contact Head Office on 02 9984 8089 or via email at manager@ooshnb.com.au but on the day of a non-attendance your message may not be forwarded on to the Centre in time as there can be times when Head Office is not monitored all day.
